Yardley Inserts LLC, a manufacturer of precision-engineered threaded metal inserts for a wide range of fastening applications, provides custom solutions for aerospace, appliance, automotive, defense, electronics and other industries. Recently, Yardley Inserts started producing a new split-sert threaded metal insert line to provide customers with more options for jobs that require strong, press-fit inserts.
“We manufacture our split-sert inserts in volume in the United States. This allows us to always have the product in stock and ready to ship,” said Tim Bailey, president at Yardley Inserts. “We also have the in-house capabilities to deliver custom orders, especially useful for 3D printing and prototyping.”
The split-sert inserts are ideal for pressing into soft materials such as plastics, foamed plastics, and rubber. These inserts do not require heat or ultrasonics, they compress into the material, providing fast installation and easy access into the mounting hole. With strong, reusable threads, Yardley’s split-sert threaded metal inserts are made out of brass and internally threaded.
Yardley’s threaded metal insert fasteners are available in a wide range of U.S. and metric sizes and thread configurations. Production includes a full line of standard and custom press-in, molded-in, epoxied-in, self-tapping, ultrasonic, and thermal insert fasteners in aluminum, brass, diecast, plated steel, stainless steel and steel.
